Depression

Depression is a mental health disorder marked by persistent feelings of sadness, hopelessness, or a loss of interest in activities that were once enjoyable. It encompasses a range of symptoms including changes in appetite or weight, sleep disturbances, fatigue, feelings of worthlessness or guilt, difficulty concentrating, and thoughts of self-harm or suicide. Depression can vary in severity and duration, impacting one’s emotional and physical well-being, relationships, and daily functioning.

Anxiety

Anxiety refers to a condition characterized by feelings of excessive worry, fear, nervousness, or apprehension. It can manifest in various ways, such as persistent and uncontrollable thoughts, restlessness, tension, physical symptoms like increased heart rate or sweating, difficulty concentrating, and sleep disturbances. Anxiety can range from mild to severe and can interfere with daily activities and overall quality of life.

Insomnia

Insomnia is a sleep disorder characterized by difficulty falling asleep, staying asleep, or experiencing non-restorative sleep despite having the opportunity for adequate sleep. Individuals with insomnia may struggle to initiate sleep, wake up frequently during the night, or wake up too early and find it challenging to return to sleep. This condition often leads to daytime fatigue, irritability, difficulty concentrating, and impaired functioning. Insomnia can be short-term (acute) or long-lasting (chronic), affecting overall well-being and daily functioning.

Migraine

A migraine is a neurological condition characterized by recurring moderate to severe headaches, often accompanied by other symptoms such as nausea, vomiting, sensitivity to light, sound, or smell, and sometimes visual disturbances known as auras. Migraine headaches can be pulsating or throbbing and typically affect one side of the head, lasting for hours to days. They can significantly disrupt daily activities and may be preceded or accompanied by warning signs (auras) like visual disturbances or tingling sensations in the body. Migraines vary in frequency and intensity among individuals.
